Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: How do I apply for the Public Sector Organization jobs and what is the last date?
All applications must be submitted online exclusively through the HRD portal at hrd1902.com.pk. The application window is 1 June to 15 June 2026. No other method — including postal, walk-in, or email — is accepted; applications submitted through any other channel are automatically rejected. Apply online before 15 June 2026.
Q: What is the difference between Notice S-08/2026, S-02/2026, and Local Circular 01/2026?
Notice S-08/2026 covers technical, scientific, and administrative positions for initial posting in Islamabad, with employment on a temporary (likely to continue) basis equivalent to BPS-6 to BPS-10. Notice S-02/2026 covers a wider range of technical, administrative, and operational posts for initial posting at Jauharabad, Distt. Khushab on contract at SPS-2 to SPS-4. Local Circular 01/2026 covers entry-level support staff positions at SPS-1 also for Jauharabad on contract. All three notices share the same application portal and closing date.
Q: What does “where 1st Division prescribed, only one 2nd Division is acceptable” mean?
This means that for positions requiring 1st Division academic performance, a candidate’s entire academic record from Matric onwards is reviewed. If any one examination in that record shows a 2nd Division result, the candidate is still considered eligible. However, if two or more examinations show 2nd Division results, the candidate does not meet the academic standard and will be considered ineligible for the respective position.
Q: Can government employees apply for these public sector organization positions?
Yes, current government and semi-government employees may apply. However, they must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer at the time of appearing for the test or interview. Applying without the NOC at the test/interview stage will disqualify the candidate. It is advised to arrange the NOC well before the test date once you receive a call letter.
Q: What is the physical height requirement and which positions does it apply to?
A minimum physical height of 168 cm (approximately 66 inches or 5 feet 6 inches) is required for all Special Vehicle Operator positions (SVO-II Crane/Fire Tender under S-02, SVO-III Fork Lifter under S-08) and all Driver-III positions in both notices. This physical standard will be checked at the time of test or interview. Candidates not meeting the height requirement for these specific positions will not be considered further regardless of their qualifications.
Q: What typing speed is required for the Computer Operator position (S-02/2026)?
The Computer Operator position under Notice S-02/2026 requires a minimum typing speed of 10,000 keystrokes per hour (kdph). A typing test will likely be conducted as part of the selection process. Candidates should practice to consistently achieve this speed or above before applying. The typing test is in addition to the academic qualification requirement of B.Sc/BCS/BIT or 2-year ADS in 1st Division.
Q: Does meeting the minimum eligibility criteria guarantee a test or interview call?
No. The official advertisement clearly states that fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee a test or interview call. When applications exceed available seats, shortlisting is done based on higher academic achievement (better marks, divisions, CGPA) and relevant experience. Candidates with stronger academic records and more experience are therefore more likely to be shortlisted. This is standard practice for public sector organization recruitment in Pakistan.
People Also Ask
Q: What kind of organization recruits through hrd1902.com.pk?
The hrd1902.com.pk portal is used as the online application platform for a Public Sector Organization under Pakistan’s federal government. Due to the sensitive nature of such organizations, the full name and details of the recruiting entity are not disclosed in the public advertisement. The initial posting locations — Islamabad and Jauharabad, Distt. Khushab — along with the technical and scientific nature of many positions suggest this may relate to a strategic government establishment.
Q: What is a CPF/PF scheme and how does it benefit Public Sector Organization employees?
CPF (Contributory Pension Fund) and PF (Provident Fund) are retirement and savings benefit schemes where both the employer and employee make regular contributions throughout the service period. Upon retirement, completion of service, or resignation, the employee receives a lump sum from the accumulated fund. This serves as a financial security benefit for public sector employees and is applicable to these positions as confirmed in the recruitment notice.
Q: Can ex-servicemen apply for these Public Sector Organization positions?
Yes. For the Special Vehicle Operator-III (Fork Lifter) position under Notice S-08/2026, ex-servicemen with a minimum T.T class II course in relevant vehicle operation are eligible, providing an alternative qualification route to the standard Matric + HTV license + 3 years experience requirement. Ex-servicemen applicants should confirm through the hrd1902.com.pk portal whether similar provisions apply to other positions in the other notices.
Q: Can I apply for positions in both S-08/2026 (Islamabad) and S-02/2026 (Jauharabad) simultaneously?
The notices are issued by two separate entities sharing the same application portal. If you meet the eligibility criteria for positions in different notices, you may apply for positions across notices. However, carefully review the specific eligibility conditions, contact details, and requirements of each notice before submitting. The same portal (hrd1902.com.pk) handles applications for all three notices with the same 15 June 2026 deadline.
Q: What does “subsequent posting anywhere in Pakistan” mean for these jobs?
While the initial posting is confirmed as either Islamabad (S-08) or Jauharabad (S-02/Local Circular), the organization reserves the right to transfer selected employees to any location in Pakistan as per operational requirements after joining. Candidates should be prepared for potential relocation during their service in these positions. This is standard for public sector organizations with multiple facilities or offices across the country.
Q: What is Jauharabad in Distt. Khushab and where is it located?
Jauharabad is an industrial town in District Khushab, Punjab, Pakistan, situated approximately 200 km from Lahore and 250 km from Islamabad. The town hosts several major industrial and government establishments. Candidates applying for S-02/2026 and Local Circular 01/2026 positions should be prepared to work and reside in Jauharabad or arrange suitable accommodation in the surrounding area at the time of initial posting.
