Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: What is the last date to apply for FFC Jobs 2026?
FFC has announced two application deadlines in 2026. Experienced positions including Chemical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Technician, Crane Operator, First Class Boiler, Frontend Boardman, Machinery Supervisor, and Sulphuric Acid Plant Operator must be applied for by 31 May 2026. Apprenticeship positions and the Laboratory Analyst role have a later deadline of 29 July 2026. Apply well before the deadline as FFC closes applications once the portal deadline passes.
Q: How do I apply for a job at Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC)?
All FFC job applications must be submitted online through the official FFC careers portal at careers.ffc.com.pk/currentlyjobs.aspx. FFC does not accept applications by email, post, or walk-in. Create your profile, select your desired position, complete the application form, and submit it before the respective deadline. Ensure your educational and experience information is accurate.
Q: Are the FFC 2026 vacancies permanent or contract positions?
The experienced positions (Chemical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Technician, etc.) are expected to be regular permanent employment within FFC’s workforce. The apprenticeship positions are structured training programs with defined durations — successful apprentices may be considered for absorption into the permanent workforce based on performance and available vacancies. Check the FFC careers portal for specific employment terms for each position.
Q: Can fresh graduates apply for FFC jobs in 2026?
Yes. FFC’s apprenticeship program — covering Chemical Plant Operator, Computer Operator, Electrical Technician, Instrument Technician, and Mechanical Technician apprentices — is specifically designed for fresh DAE graduates with no prior work experience. The Laboratory Analyst position also mentions that fresh graduates may be considered. For senior engineering and supervisory roles, relevant experience is required.
Q: At which FFC locations are jobs available in 2026?
FFC jobs 2026 are available at multiple plant locations: FFC Port Qasim (Karachi, Sindh), Goth Machhi (Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab), Mirpur Mathelo (Ghotki, Sindh), and FPCL (Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Ltd). The Mechanical Engineers vacancies are specifically split between Port Qasim / FPCL and Goth Machhi / Mirpur Mathelo. Location preferences should be mentioned during the application process.
Q: Is a First Class Boiler Certificate mandatory for the boiler operator position at FFC?
Yes. The First Class Boiler position at FFC specifically requires a valid First Class Boiler Engineer or Operator Certificate issued by the competent boiler inspectorate authority (Punjab or Sindh Boiler Inspectorate, depending on location). This statutory certification is a hard prerequisite — candidates without it will not be eligible for the role. The certificate must be current and valid at the time of application.
Q: What documents are required to apply for FFC jobs?
Typically, FFC requires applicants to submit a scanned copy of their CNIC, educational certificates and transcripts, DAE or degree certificates, experience letters (for experienced positions), and any relevant trade or professional certifications (such as the First Class Boiler Certificate). For apprenticeship positions, educational certificates and CNIC are the primary documents required. Check the specific job listing on the careers portal for exact document requirements.
Q: What is the selection process for FFC 2026 vacancies?
FFC’s selection process typically involves initial screening of online applications based on eligibility criteria, followed by a written technical test for shortlisted candidates. Those who pass the test are called for a panel interview, and final selections are made after a medical fitness examination. The entire process is managed by FFC’s Human Resources department, and only shortlisted candidates are contacted. The timeline varies by position, so monitor the contact details you provided in your application.
People Also Ask
Q: How many jobs is FFC offering in 2026?

Q: What is the salary for FFC Chemical Engineers in Pakistan 2026?
FFC Chemical Engineers in Pakistan typically receive competitive industry salaries ranging from PKR 80,000 to PKR 150,000 per month depending on experience level, qualifications, and the specific plant site. FFC also provides additional benefits such as housing, medical coverage, and provident fund contributions. Exact salary details are confirmed during the interview and offer stage.
Q: Is Fauji Fertilizer Company a government or private company?
FFC is a semi-government company listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. It operates under the Fauji Foundation, which is a welfare organization established by the Pakistan Army. While FFC is incorporated as a public limited company and operates commercially, its association with the Fauji Foundation gives it a quasi-government character. Employment at FFC is considered highly prestigious and offers strong job security.
Q: What is the FFC apprenticeship program and how long does it last?
The FFC Apprenticeship Program is a structured industrial training initiative for fresh DAE graduates in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Computer Science disciplines. The program typically runs for 1 to 2 years and combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training at plant sites. Apprentices receive a monthly stipend and gain valuable industrial skills. High performers may be absorbed into permanent FFC positions at the conclusion of the program.
Q: Where is FFC Port Qasim located and what does it produce?
FFC Port Qasim is a fertilizer manufacturing complex located at Port Qasim, Karachi, Sindh. It produces urea fertilizer and is operated under Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (FPCL), a subsidiary of FFC. The facility is one of the largest urea plants in Pakistan and benefits from its proximity to Port Qasim for raw material and product logistics. Job opportunities at this site are particularly sought after due to the Karachi location.
Q: What is the difference between Goth Machhi and Mirpur Mathelo FFC plants?
FFC Goth Machhi, located in Rahim Yar Khan (Punjab), is FFC’s oldest and largest manufacturing complex with multiple urea production trains. FFC Mirpur Mathelo, located in Ghotki (Sindh), is an expansion plant that was established later to increase national urea production capacity. Both plants produce urea fertilizer and operate with similar technology and standards, though Goth Machhi has a larger overall workforce and more extensive plant infrastructure.
