Job Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to design, analyze, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, production systems, and technical workflows within PAC’s aerospace and defence production facilities.
• Support the engineering team in technical problem-solving, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions related to aircraft production, component fabrication, or chemical processing at PAC.
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, test reports, and manufacturing documents in accordance with PAF engineering standards and applicable aerospace quality management systems.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, production managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure manufactured components and assemblies meet the required tolerances, material specifications, and airworthiness standards.
• For IT/Software: design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software systems, database applications, or digital testing tools used across PAC’s manufacturing and management information systems.
• Participate in process improvement projects, technology upgrades, and research initiatives aimed at enhancing PAC’s production efficiency, manufacturing accuracy, and digital transformation goals.
• Maintain detailed technical records, project logs, and engineering documentation in compliance with PAC’s quality management system and ISO/AS9100 aerospace standards.
• Contribute to workforce technical development by mentoring junior technical staff and providing on-the-job engineering guidance in their respective discipline areas.

Requirements & Qualifications

Deputy Program Manager (Digital Testing)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate digital testing programs for avionics, electronic systems, and aircraft sub-systems at PAC, ensuring all testing protocols meet PAF technical specifications and international airworthiness standards.
• Develop digital test plans, test procedures, and acceptance criteria for avionics components, onboard electronic systems, and digital flight control interfaces tested at PAC’s facilities.
• Lead cross-functional testing teams in the execution of automated and manual digital system tests, analyzing results to identify defects, anomalies, and non-conformances in aircraft systems.
• Coordinate with aircraft manufacturers, PAF technical directorates, and supplier organizations to resolve digital system test discrepancies and implement engineering change orders affecting testable systems.
• Oversee procurement, configuration, and maintenance of digital test equipment, ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) rigs, and software testing tools used across PAC’s testing facilities.
• Prepare comprehensive digital testing reports, anomaly records, and program completion certificates for submission to PAC management and the Pakistan Air Force technical authority.
• Support research and development initiatives aimed at expanding PAC’s digital testing capabilities, including integration of new test platforms and adoption of advanced simulation and digital twin methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff in digital testing methodologies, equipment operation, and documentation standards to build PAC’s indigenous testing capability.

Core Responsibilities (All Trades)

• Supervise a team of workers in the assigned trade (Armament, Avionics, General Fitting, Machining, Painting, Plant Operations, Rubber Technology, Security Equipment) ensuring daily production targets and quality standards are met.
• Carry out skilled trade work in the relevant specialty — including component fitting, avionics bench testing, machining operations, surface painting, or plant equipment operation — to directly contribute to production output.
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings, technical orders, work instructions, and maintenance manuals to ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with PAC technical specifications and airworthiness requirements.
• Maintain records of job cards, work orders, material usage logs, and inspection results for all tasks performed under the charge hand’s supervision within the production section.
• Identify and report technical defects, material non-conformances, and safety hazards to the supervisor and quality assurance section, taking immediate action to quarantine affected items.
• Train and coach workers under supervision in the correct application of trade techniques, use of hand and power tools, calibrated equipment, and personal protective equipment.
• Participate in quality audits, foreign object debris (FOD) prevention programs, and 5S housekeeping campaigns to maintain a safe, organized, and audit-ready production environment.
• Coordinate with stores and material management teams to ensure timely availability of parts, consumables, and tools required for planned production and maintenance activities.

• Perform hands-on technical work in the assigned specialty — airframe fitting, armament servicing, LSET operations, machining, general fitting, or painting — meeting daily production quality and output standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical publications, Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPCs), and maintenance manuals to execute precise fitting, machining, assembly, or finishing tasks on aircraft structures and components.
• Inspect own work and that of peers using precision measurement tools, gauges, and inspection procedures to ensure dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and conformance with engineering tolerances.
• Maintain assigned tools, jigs, fixtures, and workstation equipment in serviceable condition, reporting wear, damage, or calibration requirements to the Charge Hand or supervisor promptly.
• Complete job cards, work orders, and time records accurately for all tasks performed, ensuring traceability of work done on aircraft components in compliance with PAC quality management procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures, chemical handling protocols, and personal protective equipment requirements applicable to the trade — especially for painting, armament handling, and machining operations.
• Assist in training Junior Workers and HSW-grade workers in correct trade techniques, tool use, and quality-first working practices under the direction of the Charge Hand.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled trade work in the designated specialty — including avionics component bench testing, precision machining, aircraft fabric repair, electromechanical assembly, or technical photography — to the quality standards required by PAC.
• Use precision instruments, specialized tools, CNC machines, avionics test benches, or other equipment specific to the trade in order to manufacture, repair, or test aircraft components and assemblies.
• Complete all assigned tasks in accordance with technical orders, engineering drawings, and work instructions, ensuring every operation is documented with accuracy on job cards and work-order records.
• For Accounts Assistant: maintain financial records, process expense claims, support payroll administration, and prepare vouchers in compliance with PAC’s financial regulations and government accounting standards.
• For Fire Fighter: respond to fire emergencies, conduct fire prevention inspections, maintain fire-fighting equipment, and execute emergency evacuation drills across PAC’s factory complex.
• For Medical Staff: provide basic first aid, dispense medications, assist in minor medical procedures, and maintain clinic records at PAC’s medical facility serving factory personnel.
• For Supply Assistant: manage material requisitions, process store issues and receipts, maintain inventory records, and coordinate with procurement for restocking of critical items.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned trade work in the designated specialty — including airframe fitting, welding, general fitting, machining, painting, electromechanical assembly, or carpentry — under the direct supervision of a Charge Hand or Supervisor at PAC.
• Assist senior trade workers in setting up workstations, preparing materials, handling components, and maintaining tools and equipment required for daily production activities at the factory.
• Learn and apply trade techniques under structured on-the-job training, progressively developing the skills required to operate independently in the designated trade as per PAC’s workforce development program.
• For Welders: execute MIG, TIG, arc, and spot welding operations on aircraft structural components, jigs, and fixtures in accordance with weld procedure specifications and engineering drawings.
• For CCTV/DP Assistant: monitor surveillance camera feeds, log security incidents, report anomalies to the security supervisor, and maintain CCTV equipment operational readiness.
• For MTD Driver: safely operate heavy transport vehicles (HTV) for movement of aircraft components, equipment, and personnel across PAC’s facility, maintaining vehicle logs and compliance with traffic regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned work area, participating actively in FOD prevention inspections and 5S housekeeping programs to support a safe production environment.
• Report any material defects, tool damage, safety hazards, or near-miss incidents to the immediate supervisor promptly, supporting PAC’s commitment to zero-accident industrial operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Matric (Science) + TTC certificate in relevant trade (most positions); DAE preferred for technical roles
• MTD Driver: Matric + Valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) license + 4 years driving experience
