The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) is the apex government agency operating under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, mandated to promote and develop Pakistan’s IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) sector. PSEB drives export growth, supports the local tech ecosystem, and positions Pakistan as a globally competitive technology destination, with the sector projected to cross 4.5 billion dollars in exports this fiscal year.

Job Responsibilities

Formulate and implement a national strategy for IT workforce development aligned with Pakistan’s digital economy and export objectives.
Develop and institutionalize international workforce mobility programs to facilitate overseas placement of Pakistani IT professionals.
Lead standardization efforts for IT education and skills certification in collaboration with HEC, accreditation bodies, and regulators.
Drive sustainable financing efforts for workforce programs through donor coordination and proposal development.
Coordinate multi-stakeholder workforce initiatives involving public sector bodies, private industry, and academia.
Design and oversee large-scale training programs to build a globally competitive, industry-ready IT talent pool.
Establish partnerships with international training bodies and technology companies to enhance skills programs.
Report progress on workforce development KPIs to PSEB leadership and the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum 16 years of education in ICT, Business, Education Leadership, Management Sciences, Public Policy, or a related discipline (HEC-recognized university)
Experience: Minimum 12 years of progressive leadership experience in IT workforce development or skills training

Job Responsibilities

Define, strengthen, and project Pakistan’s technology narrative internationally, including the Tech Destination Pakistan initiative.
Establish and maintain a consistent brand identity and oversee content development across all platforms.
Plan and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, and traditional media channels.
Build and maintain relationships with local and international media, influencers, and strategic partners.
