Job Responsibilities

  • Handle and resolve invoicing disputes related to import, export, and demurrage charges in a timely and customer-focused manner.
  • Initiate, review, and process waiver requests in line with company policies, escalating cases requiring further approval where necessary.
  • Oversee refund cases from initiation through resolution, ensuring timely issuance of refund cheques to customers and accurate record updates.
  • Provide effective customer service support for all billing and claim-related queries from shipping lines, importers, and exporters.
  • Support the implementation and execution of kiosk-based billing solutions, contributing to SAPT’s technology-driven service delivery model.
  • Maintain accurate and complete billing records with proper supporting documentation to meet audit and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including operations and customer service to resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
  • Prepare periodic billing and dispute resolution reports for review by the Finance Department leadership.
