Role Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of avionics systems on military aircraft and aviation platforms operated by the Pakistan Army.
• Supervise technical teams responsible for installation and calibration of communication, navigation, and flight control avionics systems.
• Conduct technical inspections and quality assurance checks on avionics equipment to ensure full operational readiness and flight safety compliance.
• Coordinate with aerospace and electrical engineering teams to integrate avionics systems within broader aircraft maintenance and upgrade programs.
• Plan and oversee training programs for technical staff on avionics systems operation, fault diagnosis, and safety protocols.
• Participate in research and development initiatives related to avionics modernization and indigenous defense technology programs.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, maintenance logs, and compliance records for all avionics systems under command.
• Undertake leadership and command responsibilities as a commissioned officer within the Corps of EME, in line with military training and discipline standards.

Captain – Aerospace Engineering (DSSC)

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee structural integrity assessments, airframe maintenance, and aerodynamic performance evaluations for Army aviation assets.
• Lead technical teams in conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft platforms.
• Supervise overhaul and repair of aircraft structures, propulsion systems, and related aerospace components in accordance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with avionics and mechanical engineering teams to ensure integrated aircraft systems function reliably and safely.
• Contribute to indigenous aerospace research and development initiatives supporting Pakistan’s defense aviation capabilities.
• Conduct technical training and capacity-building sessions for ground crew and junior technical personnel on aerospace maintenance procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive technical records, airworthiness documentation, and compliance reports for assigned aircraft fleets.
• Assume leadership and command duties as a commissioned officer, upholding the discipline and standards of the Corps of EME.

Captain – Electrical Engineering (DSSC)

Role Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repair operations for electrical systems on military aircraft, ground support equipment, and aviation infrastructure.
• Supervise electrical power generation, distribution, and control systems supporting Army aviation operations and facilities.

• Coordinate with avionics and aerospace teams on integrated electrical system upgrades and modernization projects.
• Plan and deliver technical training for electrical maintenance personnel, focused on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices.
• Support indigenous defense technology development related to electrical systems used in military aviation platforms.
• Maintain accurate technical logs, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation for electrical systems under command.
• Exercise leadership and command authority as a commissioned officer within the Corps of EME’s electrical engineering branch.
