Job Responsibilities

• Assist research scientists in setting up, running and monitoring field and laboratory experiments at the Quetta research centre.
• Collect crop, soil and plant samples from trial plots following the prescribed sampling procedures and schedules.
• Record experimental observations, growth data and yield figures accurately in the official research registers and data sheets.
• Prepare experimental plots, apply treatments and maintain trial layouts according to the research design provided by scientists.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare land for experimental plots through ploughing, levelling and bed making as directed by the research staff.
