Job Responsibilities – Deputy Manager (General / PMU Operations)

• Manage day-to-day operational activities of the Aquaculture Business Hub’s Project Management Unit (PMU), coordinating between the hatchery, feed mill, processing, and administrative wings of the project.
• Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and industrial equipment at the Aquaculture Business Hub, ensuring specifications are met and quality standards are maintained.

Job Responsibilities – Deputy Manager Hatchery

• Manage all mechanical, electrical, and water treatment systems at the Aquaculture Business Hub hatchery, ensuring broodstock tanks, aeration systems, filtration units, and water quality control equipment operate at peak performance.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of hatchery infrastructure including recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), temperature control units, incubation systems, and automated feeding equipment.
• Coordinate with aquaculturists and hatchery scientists on the mechanical and environmental requirements for each production cycle, adjusting system parameters to optimize larval survival and growth rates.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for all hatchery mechanical systems, keeping detailed maintenance logs and spare parts inventories for critical equipment.
• Train hatchery support staff on safe operation of mechanical systems, emergency shutdown procedures, and daily inspection protocols for hatchery equipment.
• Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers for warranty repairs, technical support, and capacity upgrades of hatchery mechanical infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities – Deputy Manager Feed Mill

• Manage all mechanical operations of the Aquaculture Business Hub’s fish feed mill, overseeing grinding, mixing, pelleting, drying, cooling, and packaging machinery throughout the production process.
• Develop and implement feed mill production schedules aligned with hatchery and grow-out facility demand, managing raw material inventory and production throughput to ensure consistent feed supply.
• Monitor feed mill equipment performance including pellet mill die efficiency, extruder output, dryer temperatures, and pellet quality parameters, adjusting process settings to maintain product specifications.
• Ensure feed mill operations comply with food safety standards, implementing GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) protocols for raw material handling, production hygiene, and finished product storage.
• Coordinate quality control testing of produced fish feed batches, verifying pellet size, moisture content, protein levels, and durability against approved nutritional specifications.
