1. Associate Professor (BPS-20)

Number of Vacancies: 1
Location: Islamabad

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: PhD in Intelligence & Security Studies, Security Studies, International Politics, Strategic Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, or International Relations (IR) from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience:
  • Option 1: 10 years of teaching or research experience in a relevant field at HEC-recognized institutions or national/international organizations.
  • Option 2: 5 years of post-PhD teaching or research experience in a relevant field.
• Publication Requirement: At least 10 research publications, with 4 published in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals.

What You’ll Do:
As an Associate Professor, you’ll lead cutting-edge research, teach advanced courses, and mentor students in intelligence and security studies. You’ll contribute to curriculum development, supervise graduate research, and engage in policy-oriented projects.    • Pakistani nationals abroad can submit a USD $100 application fee along with required documents.
2. Submit Your Application:
   • Mail your dossier to: Office of the Acting Director, National Institute of Intelligence and Security Studies, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan.

3. Application Deadline: Submit your application within 45 days of the advertisement’s publication date.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
• Associate Professor candidates may need to deliver a lecture or seminar as part of the selection process.
• No TA/DA will be provided for tests, seminars, or interviews.
