At METRO Pakistan, we are seeking a dedicated Retail Operations and Customer Relationship Specialist to join our dynamic team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our wholesale centers operate seamlessly while fostering strong, meaningful connections with our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards in stock management by conducting regular checks to identify and remove expired products, ensuring our inventory remains fresh and compliant with quality standards. Keeping our shelves fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing is essential to providing an exceptional shopping experience. You’ll also monitor stock levels to guarantee availability, minimizing shortages and ensuring we meet customer demand efficiently.
In addition to inventory management, you will oversee the timely updating of rail cards and signage to reflect accurate pricing and product information, enhancing the shopping experience. You’ll also ensure that repacking tasks are logged promptly in the GMS system, maintaining operational accuracy and efficiency.
Customer engagement is at the heart of this role. You will address customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, seeking to understand their needs and proposing effective solutions to enhance their satisfaction. Building personal connections is key—you’ll reach out to at least 10 customers weekly to discuss their needs, preferences, and feedback, helping us tailor our services to their expectations. You’ll also maintain and update customer files to ensure data accuracy, enabling efficient and personalized communication.
To deepen our understanding of our top customers, you’ll perform analyses to identify their purchasing patterns, preferences, and needs. This insight will inform tailored solutions and strengthen customer loyalty. You’ll also monitor customer activity, track performance by product category, and analyze turnover trends to develop action plans, such as targeted campaigns, to boost engagement and sales.
Occasional customer visits will be part of your role, allowing you to gain firsthand insight into their businesses and operations, fostering stronger partnerships. You’ll also play a critical role in daily stock maintenance, continuously monitoring inventory levels, addressing shrinkage, and optimizing stock performance to meet the needs of our diverse customer segments while prioritizing quality, quantity, and safety.
