Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) is Pakistan’s only shipyard and oldest heavy engineering establishment, established in 1956 and operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP), Government of Pakistan. KSEW is certified under an Integrated Management System by Lloyds Register, UK, covering ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
With projects spanning shipbuilding, submarine construction, ship repairs and refurbishment, heavy general engineering, and material testing, KSEW offers a challenging and technically rich work environment. The organization is expanding its contract-based workforce across engineering, technical, and support functions at its West Wharf Dockyard facility in Karachi.
