SIUT Job Opportunities 2025

SIUT is hiring for a variety of technical, IT, HR, and healthcare technician roles in Karachi and Sukkur, announced on May 25, 2025. Below are the open positions, their responsibilities, and qualifications to help you find your ideal role.

HR & IT Roles

1. Senior Human Resource Officer – Sukkur

Role: Oversee HR operations to support SIUT’s mission-driven workforce.
Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Implement HR policies and maintain employee records.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
  Qualifications:
• MBA/MPA in Human Resources from a recognized university.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of labor laws and HRMIS systems.
  Location: Sukkur

2. Software Implementation Specialist

Role: Deploy and optimize hospital software systems for seamless operations.
Responsibilities:

• Lead software implementation for hospital management systems (HMIS).
• Train staff on software use and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure smooth integration of ERP or custom solutions.
  Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Master’s in IT/Software Engineering.
• 5+ years in software deployment, ideally in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles.
  Location: Karachi

3. Database Administrator

Role: Manage and secure SIUT’s critical healthcare databases.
Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Optimize queries and manage backups and recovery processes.
• Support health data analytics for improved patient care.
  Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years in database management (Oracle, MS SQL).
• Certification in DBMS platforms preferred.
  Location: Karachi

4. System and Network Specialist

Role: Ensure a robust IT infrastructure for SIUT’s operations.
Responsibilities:

• Manage network systems, servers, and security frameworks.
• Configure TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
• Maintain Windows Server, Hyper-V, and firewalls.
  Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years in network and server management.
• Certifications like CCNA, MCSE, or Microsoft Azure are a plus.

Healthcare Technician Roles

5. Trainee Operation Theater (OT) Technician

Role: Support surgical teams in delivering life-saving procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile environments.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures.
• Manage surgical instruments and equipment.
  Qualifications:
• Intermediate (Science) with a 1-year OT diploma from Sindh Medical Faculty.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

6. Trainee Anaesthesia Technician

Role: Assist in anesthesia delivery for surgical patients.
Responsibilities:

• Monitor anesthesia equipment and patient vitals.
• Prepare medications and assist with IV setups.
• Support anesthesiologists during procedures.
  Qualifications:
• Intermediate (Science) with a 1-year Anaesthesia diploma from Sindh Medical Faculty.
• Ability to work under pressure in high-stakes settings.

7. ETT (Exercise Tolerance Test) Technician

Role: Conduct cardiac stress tests to aid in heart disease diagnosis.
Responsibilities:

• Perform treadmill-based ETT under cardiologist supervision.
• Monitor ECG, heart rate, and blood pressure during tests.
• Ensure accurate data recording and equipment maintenance.
  Qualifications:
• Intermediate (Science) with a 1-year ETT diploma from Sindh Medical Faculty.
• 5+ years of ETT experience.

8. ECG Technician

Role: Perform electrocardiograms to support cardiac care.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct ECG tests and ensure accurate readings.
• Calibrate equipment and prepare preliminary reports for physicians.
• Maintain patient records with precision.
  Qualifications:
• Intermediate (Science) with a 1-year ECG diploma from Sindh Medical Faculty.
• 2+ years of ECG experience.
