Islamabad Capital Territory ICT Police Jobs 2026. The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police works under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control and is responsible for law and order, crime control and public safety in the federal capital. The Dolphin Force is its rapid response and patrol unit.

Recruitment is done through the National Police Foundation Testing and Assessment Service (NPFTAS), with physical or endurance tests, computer-based or written tests and interviews, to keep the process transparent and merit-based.

Candidates must bring these original documents at the time of interview:

• CNIC issued by NADRA
• Academic certificates
• Domicile certificate
• Two passport-size photographs with a blue background
• Affidavit countersigned by the respective Deputy Commissioner if applying against the minorities (non-Muslim) quota
• Affidavit regarding involvement in any criminal case(s) (format available on the website)

• No relaxation: No relaxation in height and chest will be given to any candidate.
• Correct information: False information can lead to action under Sections 420, 468 and 471 PPC, with imprisonment up to seven years.
• Criminal case disclosure: Candidates must disclose any criminal case as an undertaking on the portal. A false undertaking or affidavit leads to cancellation, debarment from police posts and legal action.
• Transgender persons: They may apply as per self-perceived gender identity under the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018, and the gender on their CNIC.
• Government employees: They must apply through proper channel.
• Family claim: Real son, grandson, daughter or granddaughter of a serving, retired or deceased police employee must bring complete documents such as FRC, pension book and retirement order at the interview.
• Verification: Character and academic antecedents of selected candidates will be verified. Bogus information or a criminal record means immediate cancellation and legal proceedings.
• Test centres: Choose two test centres in priority order on the portal. The final centre is decided by ICT Police.
• Endurance test: Wear joggers or suitable shoes and bring your own drinking water. Candidates are responsible for getting themselves medically checked.
• Selection stages: Only candidates who pass the physical or endurance test and the computer-based or written test are called for the interview. Failing any stage means disqualification.
• Physical verification: The Departmental Recruitment Board may verify physical standards again at the interview. Any deficiency leads to disqualification.
